A week and a half ago, I got a phone call late at night from another photographer in need.  She had an emergency on her hands and needed to see if I could cover the destination wedding in Cancun she was supposed to photograph that very weekend.

Um, YES?!?!

I told her maybe.  I had to completely rearrange my schedule for that weekend and also find a fill in for my poor hubby, Stephen, who wasn’t able to go with me.  I called my dear friend, Brooke, who has photographed a number of weddings with me…I knew she would do a fantastic job and would also be so much fun to have there!

She said yes.  Everything worked out perfectly and Brooke and I had the honor of photographing Alissa and Rob’s gorgeous wedding in Mexico this past weekend.

Our trip was a whirlwind. We flew in on Friday and left on Monday. But, for those few short days we were there, we had the most amazing time.

This wedding was an absolute joy for us to document!  Alissa and Rob and all of their friends and family were such fun to work with.  We loved getting to know everyone and we are so thankful for the level of trust they placed in us.  We had taken some time off from destination weddings but, now I’ve got the bug again and I cannot wait until the next one.
