I am a member of a local MOPS group (Mothers of Preschoolers.)  MOPS is a group of wonderful women who support each other through all stages of motherhood…pregnancy and up!  As a gift, Stephen and I decided to give two gifts to be randomly given to two mothers in the area.  The gifts are a family photo session and Disc of 10 of their favorite images for them to keep…no strings attached.
Very simply, we have been blessed…and we think it’s our turn to bless others!

We had our first of these two complimentary sessions a couple of weeks ago with Twila Beachy and her wonderful family.  I couldn’t have picked a better family to work with.  In addition, we got to photograph her family at a fantastic place…Sister’s Garden…one of my FAVORITE antique shops EVER!

*On a side note, we’ve been photographing a ton lately.  I have 3 weddings to blog as well as 5+ portrait sessions to get up here!  Sorry for the delay but we’re just swamped!  We are photographing Emmy and Andy’s wedding tomorrow and we’re SO stoked.  We will be leaving Sunday for a week to photograph a youth convention but we hope to be able to update the blog while we’re away.  Have a wonderful weekend!

These two are planning a gorgeous outdoor wedding this coming September and we can’t wait!  They’re a great couple and we had some fun creating these images at Scales Pointe at the Coralville Lake recently.

This family is happy.  Laughter filled the air and rang throughout the trees during our afternoon family shoot a week and a half ago.  Check out some of my favorite shots:

Cristina & Zach had the most beautiful wedding in Decorah, Iowa on Memorial Day weekend.  The day was intimate, personal and so extremely gorgeous!  Cristina made sure every element of their day was just perfect…from her custom made wedding dress to the yummy chocolate favors at their fabulous reception meal.

We loved every second we got to spend with these two! Whenever one of my crazy ideas ran through my head, these two were right there with us dreaming up the most fantastic photo ideas….love it!

We are super excited to photograph Melissa and Ben’s wedding this coming September.  With such an awesome, fun couple to work with, we know we’re going to get tons of amazing images.  We did about everything from sitting on broken cinder blocks, to picking orange poppies outside an abandoned building…we definitely had a blast!
